What to expect in court

1960’s building on 4 levels

Security at entrance

CCTV of all public spaces

5 trial courtrooms

2 video-link rooms

2 youth courts -lower ground floor

1 coroner’s court –lower ground floor

1 family court – ground floor

Help desk in foyer for enquiries

Lift to all 4 levels apart from coroner’s court where external access is available

Hearing loop facility in court and admin office

Wheelchair access to courts and toilets for persons with disabilities available on ground and 1st floors

Café on 3rd floor –hot and cold food and drink to eat in or take away.

NB – no creche or child care facilities – children under 14 years are not allowed in the court rooms
